People make a difference

When we say "organization" is about more than clean, nice-looking spaces, what do we really mean? At Mind Your Mess, we think it's about giving People the tools they need to live a lighter, less stressful life.
Creativity. Efficiency. Attention to detail. Genuine care for helping People create their ideal home spaces. Our team uses these strengths to guide each project with kindness, encouragement and systems that fit how People really live.

Ashley Grubbs

Founder & Professional organizer

Ashley grubbs founded Mind Your Mess and is a lifetime enthusiast of organization, systems and well-designed and functional spaces. Ashley is known for her upbeat personality and down-to-earth approach to organizing. She believes that organization should empower you – not overwhelm you.
Growing up in houston, texas, ashley incorporates her creativity, efficiency and attention to detail as a means of assisting clients in creating their own unique homes that are lower in stress and easier to manage. Ashley has always had a strong interest in organizing due to her upbringing (since childhood) and naturally developed this interest into a career of helping other families organize and develop simpler daily routines.

Ashley enjoys many hobbies such as fitness, hiking and all things labeled and organized. Clients appreciate ashley's non-judgmental and supportive attitude toward them and her ability to take seemingly unmanageable projects and break them down into smaller transformational steps.

Julie McCoy
Co-founder & professional organizer

Julie McCoy co-founded Mind Your Mess with a desire to help families establish order and simplicity within their households. Julie's caring and gentle demeanor provides support to her clients during the entire organizing process.

Since a young age, julie has enjoyed organizing. After realizing that even the largest messes could be addressed "one item at a time," this philosophy continues to guide julie in both her organizing and client relations practices.

Clients value julie's creative thinking, patience, and understanding of effective organizational systems. Julie assists families in transforming their spaces into usable environments that foster peace, sustainability and functionality in their daily lives.
